This Privacy Policy explains how Flirae Team ("Flirae," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Flirae mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Flirae is intended for users aged 17 and older.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Service.

1) Summary of the Service

Transform your spending habits with Flirae - a smart tool designed to help you curb impulse buying and take control of your finances. You can:

  • Log your temptations (e.g., item name, images, price, and your reason for holding back).
  • Celebrate your restraint by tracking unpurchased items and estimated savings.
  • Track monthly progress with reviews of patterns and outcomes.
  • Visualize savings over time, including premium features such as trends and lifetime insights.

2) Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

2.1 Account and Profile Information (provided by you)

  • Name and/or username
  • Email address

2.2 Customer Support (provided by you)

  • The content of messages you send to us (including attachments) and any information you choose to provide when requesting support.

2.3 Content You Create (provided by you)

  • Records you create in the app such as product names, prices, reasons, notes, and (if you choose) images you attach to entries.

2.4 Location Information (with your permission)

  • Approximate or precise location, depending on your device settings and your permission choices.

You can enable or disable location access at any time in your device settings.

2.5 Device and Usage Data (automatically collected)

  • Device information (such as device model, operating system version, language, and identifiers as permitted by your device and applicable law)
  • Usage statistics (such as app interactions, feature usage, and performance metrics)
  • Crash logs and diagnostic data

2.6 Cookies and Similar Technologies

If any parts of the Service are delivered through web-based components, we (or our service providers) may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and help secure and improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings where applicable.

3) Photos, Face Data, and Biometric Information

Flirae does not perform facial recognition and does not collect biometric identifiers for identifying you. If you choose to upload or attach photos/images, we use them only to provide the requested features. We do not use photos/images for advertising or marketing, and we do not use your photos/images to train models for advertising or marketing purposes. Unless you explicitly choose to upload an image for a feature that requires server processing, images are stored locally on your device by default.

4) AI-Related Processing (If You Choose to Use It)

Some optional features may use automated processing (which may be described as "AI") to help you generate, interpret, or enhance content you provide (e.g., text or images) for your logged items or insights.

Important: You are always in control of whether to upload content for these features.

When you choose to use an AI-related feature that requires server processing:

  • Your uploaded text/images are processed on Flirae Team's own servers.
  • We do not share your uploaded text/images with any third party for processing, analytics, advertising, or any other purpose.
  • We do not sell or rent your uploaded text/images.
  • After the requested processing is completed, the uploaded text/images are deleted promptly from our server-side processing environment.

5) How We Use Information (Purposes)

  • Provide and maintain the Service (including account creation and enabling features you request)
  • Personalize your experience (such as showing relevant summaries, preferences, and settings)
  • Improve the Service (including analytics, debugging, and feature development)
  • Security and fraud prevention
  • Customer support
  • Compliance with legal obligations and enforcing our rights and policies

We do not sell your personal information.

6) How We Disclose / Share Information

  • With your consent or at your direction, such as when you choose to export or share content.
  • With service providers (processors) that help operate the Service (e.g., infrastructure hosting, data storage, security, support tooling), under contractual obligations and only on our instructions.
  • For legal reasons, such as to comply with law or valid legal process.
  • To protect rights and safety, including to investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

AI-related uploads: as described above, we do not share the text/images you upload for AI processing with any third party.

7) International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and additional measures as appropriate.

8) Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption, access controls, regular security reviews, monitoring, and backup/recovery practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9) Data Retention

  • Account data: for the duration of your account.
  • If you delete your account: we will delete or anonymize personal information within 30 days, subject to legal requirements.
  • Usage statistics: retained up to 12 months.
  • Customer support content: retained up to 6 months.

10) Your Privacy Rights and Choices

11) Children and Age Restriction

The Service is intended for users aged 17+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17.

12) Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised Effective Date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.

13) Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of Flirae Team's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14) Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration

Except where prohibited by applicable law, you and Flirae agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration, on an individual basis, administered by a reputable arbitration institution under its applicable rules.
